Dear Rush Canada Member,

Rush would like to wish you a Happy New Year and much-continued success in 2017 and beyond. None of our accomplishments would be possible without you and your continued support.

It’s been a huge year for Rush Soccer. On a broader scale, it’s been great to see Rush Alumni, Christian Pulisic, break into the first team of Borussia Dortmund and more recently his National Team. There are countless Rush members on scholarships at top NCAA schools and playing professionally abroad. This can be attributed to the infrastructure provided by Rush Soccer. With the emergence of programs such as Rush Select, our members had a chance to see the Rush Soccer apparatus at work in 2016.

This has been an amazing year for Rush Canada. We saw plenty of success in our local SAAC competitions; we had countless successful international tournaments, and we saw the massive impact of Rush Select across multiple age groups. In 2016, many of our boys and girls were selected to travel to the US to try out for Rush Select teams. After successful tryouts, two of our girls travelled to Sweden with Rush Select in 2016. More recently, we had 7 Rush Canada boys attend a Rush Select Camp in Arizona. This was also a huge success: many of our players were offered a spot on their respective Select teams and will travel to prestigious tournaments in Spain and Italy to play in top-tier tournaments and compete against the likes of Juventus, Barcelona FC, Real Madrid CF, FC Bayern Munchen, Ajax FC, Celtic FC, and FC Inter.
