Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long has Rush Canada been operating?

Rush Canada started in 2013 in Ontario and has since grown from a few teams to now over 20 including League 1, OPDL, iModel, District and Grassroots.

  • Is it expensive to join Rush Canada?

Our programs must remain competative in order to remain a viable option.  We provide a year round training program opposed to "seasonal".  So costs can appear higher for some items, but only because our program is much longer.

  • Do players under 12 have to tryout?

No, those players under the age of 12 can join without having to "trial".  As long as we have space, we will welcome you with open arms.

  • Where do you practice?

Most of the training during the summer is done in Oakville and Milton with some teams in Mississauga.  We enjoy the ability to welcome players from all districts and do out best to centralise our training where possible.

  • How often do you practice?

Depending on the program it can vary between 2-4 sessions per week plus games.

  • Do you offer extra training?

Our school of Excellence is open to players Under the age of 13 to provide extra training for those who want to be better.

  • Who is the leadership team at Rush Canada?

Our Academy is managed by seasoned professionals who have not only played professionally, but has also managed professionally.  With a combined 150 years of knowledge from our 3 Leaders, the wealth of knowledge and experience to support our cacohes can only help develop outstanding players.

  • Can you guarantee I will play professionally ?

No, no one can, but we will help you find the tools needed to help you with your journey.  Knowledge can only go so far, in the end the abilty of the player and their desire to be the best is fundemental to find any success let alone play professional soccer.  We are here to help and guide you  and have a wealth of professional knowledge to share.

  • Whats the difference between a Club and an Academy

While there a number of answers to this question, the one that stands out the most is this;  Our entire effort is focussed on players and their development.  We do not provide house league programs nor employ executive management teams to support the business.  Our Technical Director is an owner, not an employee, same for our president and our Opertations Director.  In the end our business is soccer, nothing else.
