Our Rush Select 2006 Team – a mix of 2006 and 2007 boys from Rush Canada Soccer Academy and Rush Michigan – was invited to participate in the top flight of the prestigious Weston Cup Tournament in Florida last month. The tournament had 5 divisions – each division having 4 groups of 4 teams, so 16 teams per division and 80 teams total. Our boys played in the highly competitive first division. The Rush boys did excellent throughout the tournament and eventually worked their way to the final match where they lost to an exceptional West FC Academy Team.
