OAKVILLE – Rush Canada Soccer Academy is pleased to announce that two of our academy players are currently on trial with Danish First Division Club, HB Køge.

HB Køge is a Capelli Sport owned club located in the town ofKøge, which is just south of Copenhagen, and only a 30 minute drive from Copenhagen Airport. The club is currently sitting seventh in the Danish First Division with ambitious plans to expand.

Sixteen-year-old Michael Maslanka, and fifteen-year-old Patrick Aponowicz traveled to Copenhagen yesterday to begin their 10 day trial. Both players are coming off very impressive seasons with their respective OPDL teams. Maslanka played on the U16/17 OPDL boys team, whileAponowicz helped his U15 OPDL boys team win the OPDL Regular Season Championship and advance to the OPDL Gary Miller Charity Shield Final.

During their trial, both players will be housed byHB Køge and they will train twice per day with the Under-19 team at the Capelli Sport Stadium.
