Although playing against older and stronger opposition, Costa has managed with his brilliant performance to attract attention of all the opposing team coaches – they all agreed that Costa is special talent.

In 3 tournament games Costa has scored 10 goals and created many more scoring opportunities. His penetrating runs with the ball were unstoppable for opponents and they were frequently fouling him to prevent him from getting into the scoring positions. Costa effectively used his speed with the ball to dribble through the opposition defence and also created many combination plays with his teammates.

He was also very effective in 1v1 defending as well as in reading opponent passes and cutting them off to create counterattacking opportunities.
