Earlier this month, Rush Canada’s U12 Team attended the Tottenham Hotspur America Trophy in Baltimore. During the tournament, the Tottenham Scouts were monitoring the games and scouting players to take part in Tottenham’s Development Residential Program – where all expenses, except airfare, are covered by the Tottenham Hotspurs.
We’re very happy to announce that Rush Canada’s Patrick Aponowicz was identified by the Tottenham scouts and will be travelling to London in April 2017 and taking advantage of the opportunity of a lifetime.
This program will give Patrick an opportunity to train and learn at the club’s state of the art training facilities in London. He will take part in a week-long program consisting of monitored training sessions and meetings with select players and coaches. Patrick will take part in daily training sessions led by the Tottenham Academy Staff and select training sessions will be held at the first team training facility. Patrick will play matches against three specifically selected academy sides, including Tottenham Hotspur. This opportunity is fully funded, excluding airfare, and includes training sessions, all transportation to and from airport, daily meals, and housing in a four-star hotel which is used by visiting Premier League teams, meals, as well as a full Under Armour kit, apparel, and shoes. In addition, Patrick will have the opportunity to do a stadium tour of White Hart Lane, Wembley Stadium, and will have an opportunity to watch select first team training sessions. He will also have the opportunity to be a ball boy and/or attend a Tottenham Hotspur first team match.
We would like to congratulate Patrick on being selected and wish him the best of luck in London!
