Rush Canada's School of Excellence
Ball Mastery - Players are encouraged to take as many touches as possible using simple and complex repetitions to improve their control.
Passing & Receiving - Passing and receiving are fundamental in the game of soccer. Learn how to vary the weight of the pass and receive with different parts of the foot and body.
Dribbling and moving with the ball - Learn techniques to beat players 1v1 and support attacking options through the use of space.
Shooting & Finishing - A player learns to shoot, but may not necessarily be a good finisher. We work on movement to find space, how to approach the ball and how to use different techniques to strike the ball.
SAQ (Speed, Agility, Quickness) - Exercises are provided to improve Speed, Agility and Quickness by using soccer specific activities.
Positional Training - Learn to use the width of the pitch when in possession. Know where to be and where teammates are so you can adjust your movement to be even more effective.
