OAKVILLE – Rush Canada Soccer Academy is pleased to announce that we’ve been invited to the 2022 International Rush Cup.

The Rush Cup will be a part of the Rush Select Program and this Regional Event will feature 4 United States based Rush Teams made up of the best players from the West, South, Northeast, and Midwest USA regions. Additionally, Rush Canada will compete under their own region at this event.

The Rush Select Program is the elite player program in Rush Soccer, bringing together the top players from Rush clubs around Rush Nation. America, Canada, South America and European players have participated in the program.

The Rush Select Staff will be present throughout the event scouting the best Canadian players. They will be looking for the most dedicated and talented players to represent the Rush. The scouts will be choosing the best players in attendance to form a Rush Super Team at each age group. The Super Team will then become a Rush Soccer National Team that will compete in a College Showcase in February in the United States and an International Tournament in Europe to get professional team scouting opportunities.

There will be a VIP guest speaker for the players at the event. Last year’s guest speaker was Clint Dempsey.

This three-night event will take place in Wesley Chapel, Florida and the players will stay at a hotel with their teammates (four players per room). The Rush Staff will pick-up and drop-off players to and from the the airport and will provide transportation throughout the event. The players will also receive two Rush Select Uniform tops for the event.
