OAKVILLE – Our 2001 girls’ class is having an impressive year.
To date, the 2001 class was our first and only female graduating class so far. Thirteen girls from the 2021 class are playing soccer and studying at various colleges and universities in North America.
“Our academy started operations in 2014 and in only 6 years has produced this first class of graduates. Each year, the girls had an opportunity to play friendly games against ODP teams in the United States which helped them get accustomed to a different style of play and gain exposure to US college coaches.” adds Rush Canada’s TD, Slobodan Pavlovic.
Most recently, Nevada Feasby was awarded the Athlete of the Year award at Sheridan College. She was also awarded the OCAA Women’s Soccer West Division Defensive Player of the Year and was a OCAA Women’s Soccer West Division First-Team All-Star.
