Oakville – Rush Canada Alumni Update – Michael joined Rush Canada when it first began back in 2013. During his time at Rush he has participated in numerous Rush Select events and Trialed with a 1st division Danish club. We are very proud to hear this announcement and wish him continued success for his future.

“Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s soccer player Michael Maslanka was named OUA East first team all-star and OUA East rookie of the year!A first-year political science student, Maslanka burst onto the OUA scene with a breakout rookie campaign which saw him finish as a top-10 goal scorer across the OUA. Appearing in 11 matches this season, the Mississauga native scored a team-high seven goals, while adding an assist. Maslanka made his presence felt immediately, notching two goals in his OUA debut versus Queen’s on August 31, while also adding another marker at Carleton for three goals across his first two matches. Maslanka becomes the second consecutive OUA East rookie of the year selection for U of T.”
