Congratulations to our Rush 2003 Blue team who won the OASL Academy Cup final this past weekend on a cold evening at Ontario Soccer Stadium. 

Head Coach Rob Stirling added “Playing against one of the toughest opponents we’ve faced this season, the boys had to dig deep throughout the game to fend off a determined and well organized Red Academy from the Waterloo/Kitchener area.  After conceding an unfortunate early goal, the boys responded brilliantly and eventually found the equalizer midway through the 1st half.  After a number of chances for both sides in the 2nd half without success, the final had to be decided by the dreaded penalty shootout.  Strong finishing from the spot along with two incredible saves sealed the win for Rush capping off another successful season for the boys.
Every player should be very proud of what they accomplished this season.  Well Done!”
