During the April 23rd weekend our Rush Canada Blue 2003 boys participated in the top tier in the 2016 Michigan Challenge Cup, their first tournament outside of Canada.
Prior to this event the boys had only ever played four 11v11 matches so it set up an exciting weekend for our players and parents.
“The boys performed very well throughout the two days, winning all three round robin games and the final match in style. Over the 2 days the boys scored 16 times and only allowed 2 against.
I’m very proud of all the boys in our group, even though I could only bring 17, the three that were not able to attend definitely contributed to this victory. We train as a unit, we succeed as a unit.”
Congratulations on a well deserved victory!
