2005 Boys Win the Top Rated Super Cup

Congratulations to our 2005 Rush Canada Academy boys who won the gold medal in the Top Division of the Top Rated Super Cup.

Our boys played with a lot of determination throughout the tournament winning all three of their group stages against some of the top 2005 teams in the region. Their perfect group stage record took them to the tournament final against a strong Pro Stars Academy team. It was a highly competitive and equally entertaining match, which ended 0-0 after neither team was able to find the back of the net. The match went straight to penalty kicks after regular time, but the boys kept their focus and ended up winning 4-3 in penalties after a great save from Rush Canada’s goalkeeper.

Head Coach Ivan Juric said: “I really couldn’t be more proud of this group of boys. They worked extremely hard during the indoor season and over the past year or so to get to where they are today. This is a very talented, skilled and hardworking group of boys who play with a lot of passion, teamwork and desire to win – all necessary components of a winning team. I look forward to the upcoming OASL season and years of continued success with this group of boys!”
