Rush Canada’s Costa Iliadis Stands Out for Rush Michigan

Screen Shot 2016-05-11 at 9.25.53 PMCosta Iliadis – member Rush Canada’s 2005 Boy’s Team – participated with Coach Slobodan’s Rush Michigan Team in the Michigan Jaguars tournament in Novi, Michigan.

Coaches Comments:

Although playing against older and stronger opposition, Costa has managed with his brilliant performance to attract attention of all the opposing team coaches – they all agreed that Costa is special talent.
In 3 tournament games Costa has scored 10 goals and created many more scoring opportunities. His penetrating runs with the ball were unstoppable for opponents and they were frequently fouling him to prevent him from getting into the scoring positions. Costa effectively used his speed with the ball to dribble through the opposition defence and also created many combination plays with his teammates.
He was also very effective in 1v1 defending as well as in reading opponent passes and cutting them off to create counterattacking opportunities.

Congratulations Costa on an impressive display of your talent and of Rush Canada’s training programs and methodologies.
